Jill began riding at the age of 7. She trained with Don and Kathy Kerron at Sunwood Farms in Beaverton and with Vicki Zacharias at Rain Creek Farms in Oregon City. Her passion for horses led her to compete in the AA Show Circuit from California to Canada as a junior and into her adult years. She won numerous awards, locally and nationally in the Children's Hunter and Equitation Divisions. She then moved into the jumper ring to learn the ins and outs of the jumpers competition.

Jill took a brief hiatus from the hunter/jumper world to get married and have a beautiful daughter. As her daughter developed the same passion for the sport, it is then that she realized that she was meant to teach. She founded the Quiet Rein Riding School in 2008. She first started with a handful of customers. Jill has coached her green riders through their first local shows and her more seasoned riders through rated shows with great success. Her students have won numerous awards in both local, regional, and open level of shows. Additionally, Jill is highly involved in the hunter/jumper community.

Robin was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and she began riding at 8 years old. She first competed in the hunters before transitioning into jumpers in her teens. Robin trained with Debbi Long of Long Farms and Ashley Stannard of Ashbrook Farms in Tucson. She has competed successfully in the southwest in both the hunter and jumper ring.

Robin moved to the Northwest for school and in August 2012 she graduated with a BA in Psychology from the University of Portland. As horses have always been her main passion she is thrilled to be able to make them her career.

Bailey is 15yr old, Clydesdale/Thoroughbred gelding (16.1 hands). He is an amazing medal horse with show miles in both the Jumper and Equitation rings. He's everyone's favorite at the barn.

Robyn is a 1994, 16.1 hand, TB/Oldenburg mare. She has a winning record in the hunter ring and you will not meet a kinder, safer girl.

Kenny is a 15.1h registered quarter horse. Kenny is the newest addition to the Quet Rein family.

Lucy is a 14yr old, Shire/Arab cross mare (16.2 hands) she's a smooth ride on the ground and a pleasure to jump with.

Mr. Pickles is a 16.2h Clyde/Appendix cross. Pickles is the class clown for sure. He loves to hang out with his best friend Bailey.
